BMW K-Series tech info
BMW K-Series description
For sale is my immaculate like-new K1300S. 3150 miles means its pretty much just broken in for a new owner. Not a scratch or ding on her. Garage kept and babied. I bought it to ride with some friends, but then moved away and haven't picked up the hobby again with my priorities changing.
The bike comes with a Sargent after-market seat with rear trunk cowling which is very handy for storage of small items while out riding. It also comes with a titanium and carbon fiber Remus exhaust muffler. Stock seat and muffler comes with the bike. This is almost $2K in aftermarket stuff alone! I get many compliments when out on the road as it is a fairly rare and interesting bike that other's don't see too often. Not to mention the oo's and ah's when you talk about the specs and engineering. This model comes with the power shifter, electronic adjustable suspension, anti-lock brakes, heated grips, and traction control. |

Thu, 24 Apr 2014BMW’s venerable R1200GS has a lot of fans around the globe, including us. To my eyes, the GS does a fine job of maintaining a traditional dirtbike’s minimalist appearance, minus those bulging cylinders protruding from either end. But now more than ever, thanks to the introduction of liquid-cooling, the GS is a modern marvel of mechanical and electrical engineering.

The Avon 3D Ultra range
Tue, 27 Mar 2012As with many things, the world of motorbikes goes in phases. It be might be manufacturers dominating a certain segment of the market or even one country seemingly having a never ending supply of successful racers and the same goes for tyres. Back in the eighties and early nineties if you wanted racing success in the Supersport class Avon tyres would be your most likely weapon of choice.
