BMW K-Series description

This is a special edition HP (high performance) version with a numbered plate, Akrapovic exhaust and lots of carbon fiber. It is in pristine, like-new condition, with only 9,055 miles on it and comes with the optional BMW hard saddlebags installed new in 2015. Along with all stock items, it also comes with a custom Sargent seat with a color-matched seat cowl (the stock seat comes with a carbon fiber seat cowl), an MRA Vario tinted windscreen, and color-matched Pazzo levers, all added new in 2015. It has full service records and has always been serviced at BMW dealers at the appropriate intervals.

BMW Reports Q3 2011 Results

The BMW Group reported a 14.8% increase in motorcycle revenue and a 6.5% increase in unit sales during the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2011. The German manufacturer sold 28,862 units over the quarter, including 26,312 BMW-branded motorcycles and 2,550 units from its Husqvarna subsidiary.

Following in the wake of the Biltwell 100 race, my confidence in the 390 Adventure and my ability to pilot it for long stretches off-road soared. The ability to combine the technical skills I learned in the ATX Moto Adventures and Sedlak Off Road classes, along with some good old-fashioned seat time, really paid off. In addition, there were two changes I made to the bike that firmly cemented my trust in piloting it through the sketchy sandy trails – a custom lowered seat from Seat Concepts, and some aggressive knobby tires.
