2010 - Bmw K-series K1300s on 2040-motos
Chase Mills, New York, United States
BMW K-Series description
This BMW super bike does it all. As fast as anything out there. Two large saddle bags for those trips to the grocery store. Seat big enough for two. A perfect mix. 175 bhp and 103 lb-ft of torque. It's amazing. With every up shift (even into the higher gears) you feel a surge of power.
ABS - anti-lock brakes.
ESA II - electronic suspension adjustment - you can choose the ride feel between sport, normal and easy, based on road conditions.
Gear shift assist - clutch-less upshifting which is really nice in "race" situations.
ASC - auto stability control for split-second electronically assisted correction in all weather but especially nice in the wet (with 175 bhp). On Board Computer with average speed, distance to empty, Tire Pressure Sensors, temp, time and more. The saddle bags are huge. They were a $1200 option. Not quite big enough for a large helmet, but plenty big for a couple of bags of groceries. Heated hand grips for all-weather riding.

2024 Verge TS Pro Electric Motorcycle Review – Quick Ride
Thu, 20 Jun 2024First impressions of a unique e-bike from Scandinavia Photos by Nic de Sena Every good story needs a hook, and Verge certainly has one with its hubless rear wheel design. They’re leaning into it so much that even the company T-shirts say, “Reinventing the wheel” on the back. But what is the Verge TS, anyway?
Gesture-controlled Audi wins VDA Design Award
Wed, 25 Sep 2013The German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) has announced the winner of its 2013 Design Awards, which asked students from across the world to submit their final graduating projects completed between October 2011 and July 2013. Eric Leong from Sweden's Umeå Institute of Design, came in first place with his 'Audi Elite' project, earning himself €4,000. Leong's single-person vehicle can be controlled using the entire body through gestures and movements, and adapts to the needs of the driver, giving them more control.
Gold Rush
Tue, 27 Nov 2012Spotted at this year's Motorcycle Live. The 'net is awash with gold-wrapped and horrendously painted supercars, often sporting Middle-Eastern numberplates but this S1000RR isn't an Arab creation. Nope, it's a one-off paintjob by BMW for the 2012 Olympics, where BMW supplied cars and bikes to ferry around VIPs.
