2008 BMW K1200S, 23,900 miles, clear title. All maintenance & service done local at
Gina’s BMW in Iowa City, IA, have all service records and receipts. I am the 2nd owner, I bought it 3
years ago from an employee at Gina’s BMW.
Previous owner and I both adults with plenty of riding experience. Bike is in very good condition, and has never
been dropped or laid down. It is always
garage kept, on front and rear stands, and a battery tender. This bike is great for long trips, even 2-up
with luggage, or short and aggressive riding on twisty roads. It has factory keyed (same as ignition) BMW
expandable hard saddle bags, as well as the extra BMW factory rear luggage rack. This bike is EXTREMELY fast, and is not a
bike for beginners; 1,157cc (dry sump), 150+ hp, 6 sp, shaft-drive. I have added a waterproof USB port, Remus
Powercone exhaust, and K&N air filters.
Tires are Michelin Pilot Pure.
Factory ABS, and adjustable rear suspension. I also have a digital service manual on
CD. Additional pictures and/or information available upon request. Brand new BMW battery purchased and installed 10AUG13

2014 BMW US Prices Released – R nineT Only $800 More Expensive than R1200R
Tue, 28 Jan 2014If you’ve been considering a new BMW motorcycle this year, then you must be eagerly awaiting the German manufacturer to release its 2014 prices. Now that your Christmas bills are paid off (at least, you would hope), you can start budgeting for your new Beemer, now that BMW Motorrad USA has released pricing information for the five newest models to its lineup, the R nineT, S1000R, R1200GS Adventure, K1600GTL Exclusive and R1200RT. Perhaps the most welcome news is the R nineT’s pricing at $14,900, making it just $800 more expensive than the R1200R‘s $14,100 price tag.
MINI Scooter E Concept Revealed

Created to bring together a youth-oriented lifestyle element and sustainable mobility, the scooters take significant design cues from the MINI lineup of cars while using a lithium-ion battery pack to deliver guilt-free mobility. Making the MINI E Scooter Concept almost excessively hip is its smartphone integration, where the owner’s iPod or similar device acts as the actual key for the scooter, clicking into a central docking station between the handlebars.
Naked BMW S1000RR Spotted Testing in Italy – Video
Wed, 29 May 2013Italian site Motociclismo.it has published a video of what appears to be a naked version of the BMW S1000RR being tested on public roads in Rovereto, Italy. The test model was dressed in camouflage and appears to be close to being ready for production, especially compared to the earlier prototype spotted testing last summer. We expect BMW will officially unveil this S1000RR-based streetfighter at either the Intermot show in Cologne, Germany, or the EICMA show in Milan, Italy, later this fall.
