This 2008 BMW K1200LT is in excellent condition. The bike has only 15987 miles on it. Bike comes with a 3 year, unlimited mile warranty that is accepted nation wide including Canada. The LT model comes with almost every possible feature standard. The LT is made to travel seemingly endless roads with ease. This bike has the following features, upgrades and add ons... custom seat, GPS, Xenon headlight, electrical center stand, J Peg highway pegs, alarm system, CB radio, CD player, additional dash board, Cee Bailey tall windshield, heated seat and grips, foam inserts on grips, and on board computer. This bike also comes with all books, parts of the tool kit and the BMW flashlight in the center counsel. There are some marks on the mirror housings which is common because the mirrors can be knocked off easily (see photos). Other than that the bike has no other marks or blemishes. Title Information: Vehicles titles may be held by banks or lenders as collateral for loans. In many cases there is a delay in receiving the original instruments up to 21 days from the time we pay a vehicle off. While we usually have all titles in our possession at closing, there are occasions where we may be waiting for them to arrive. If payment is made by cashier's or personal checks we will hold all titles for 10 days or until funds have cleared.
Shipping & Delivery:
1. All shipping charges are buyer's responsibility. A & J Performance Cycle will help with shipping arrangements but will not be responsible in any way for claims arising from shipping damage!
2. Licensed Carriers are generally insured for $3,000,000.00. We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after the vehicle leaves our showroom. All shipping arrangements are provided by A & J Performance Cycle as a courtesy. We are not affiliated with any carrier. Any claims or other communication regarding shipment of vehicles will be between you and the shipper, not with A & J Performance Cycle.
3. The amount of time it takes for delivery is dependent on the carrier, but is generally 7-14 days from the date the vehicle is picked up from our facility until it is delivered to your destination. Verify with the shipper for an Estimate Time of Arrival to be sure.
Finalizing your Purchase:
1. A & J Performance Cycle will contact the successful high bidder by e-mail after the auction closes.
2. Successful high bidder MUST communicate with at A & J Performance Cycle by e-mail or phone

2014 BMW Motorrad International GS Trophy Announced

After holding three events in the southern hemisphere, the BMW Motorrad International GS Trophy will go north in September 2014, to Canada. Billed as the GS riders’ Olympics, the biennial competition pits teams representing different countries against one another in a number of challenges testing their riding skills. Previous competitions had competitors riding the F800GS but for 2014, the GS Trophy will switch to the liquid-cooled R1200GS.

Charley Boorman’s BMW R1200 GS Adventure Stolen – and Recovered

Adventure touring documentary star Charley Boorman and his BMW R1200GS Adventure have traveled a long way together, but the motorcycle had a bit of an adventure on its own after thieves stole the bike. The stolen BMW wasn’t the one Boorman rode with Ewen McGregor in “Long Way Round” (that was a R1150GS Adventure) or the one used in the sequel “Long Way Down“. Boorman did ride it on his last project, “Charley Boorman’s Extreme Frontiers: Canada”.
