BMW K-Series description

Offered for sale is my one of a kind BMW K1200R Sport.  I'm a 57 year old rider and the bike has been meticulously maintained and is in perfect working condition--never raced or tracked. Most of the 15k miles I put on the bike were on the wide open highway.

Professionally painted in PPG Black Satin and covered in high quality German carbon fiber, this BMW has an aggressive look with tasteful mods and the horsepower (165 RWH) to back it up:

-- Remus Titanium Headers/Exhaust
-- Ken Wall air box mod
-- Full carbon fiber
-- Brand new front and rear Michelin Power Road Radials
-- Galfer Floating Wave Rotors
-- Wunderlich sport wind screen
-- Full frame sliders
-- Bar end mirrors

The future of law enforcement?

Mon, 12 Jul 2010

THANKFULLY you're not looking at latest addition to the US Police force's motorcycle fleet - it's the futuristic machine that featured in the 2009 movie "Star Trek" .It's being prepped before being suspended mid-air in the "Born to be Wild: Vintage and Celebrity Motorcycles" exhibition in the Reagan Library's Air Force One Pavilion in Simi Valley, California. Looks a bit like a BMW R1200S, don't you think?

BMW Concept 6 [video]

Mon, 23 Nov 2009

BMW introduced an inline six-cylinder café racer concept at the 2009 EICMA show in Milan, Italy. Inline-six engines have a staple in BMW’s automobiles for decades and the German manufacturer’s motorcycle division took on the challenge of adapting the straight-six to a bike without making it too long or too wide. The result is the BMW Motorrad Concept 6, and an evolution BMW says “will further expand the K-Series in the foreseeable future”.
