I have a matching Corbin Smuggler that is not included in this auction but is available separately. Has BMW Motorrad Navigator IV mounting system installed. GPS is not included in this auction but available separately. A direct plug-in charging port for a battery tender added next to accessory plug. 2013 BMW HP4 Revealed – A Lighter, Track-Oriented S1000RR with Dynamic Damping and Launch Control
Fri, 27 Jul 2012BMW unveiled a new, more track-oriented sportbike based on its highly-successful S1000RR. The new BMW HP4 is an evolution of BMW’s HP2 series with the S1000RR’s inline-four engine. Like the S1000RR, the HP4 claims 190 hp at 13,000 rpm and 83 ft-lb.
2013 BMW R1200GS Recalled in Canada for Potential Transmission Oil Leak
Wed, 06 Feb 2013Transport Canada has announced a recall for the 2013 BMW R1200GS due to a potential risk of leaking transmission oil. As yet, no recall has been announced for the U.S. market by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, but we expect one shortly.
The 390 Adventure Project – Upgrades and Adjustments
Wed, 10 Jul 2024Following in the wake of the Biltwell 100 race, my confidence in the 390 Adventure and my ability to pilot it for long stretches off-road soared. The ability to combine the technical skills I learned in the ATX Moto Adventures and Sedlak Off Road classes, along with some good old-fashioned seat time, really paid off. In addition, there were two changes I made to the bike that firmly cemented my trust in piloting it through the sketchy sandy trails – a custom lowered seat from Seat Concepts, and some aggressive knobby tires.
