One owner, purchased new from BMW Motorcycles of Western Oregon. No known issues. No accidents or drops. BMW bag liners included. BMW flashing LED brake light added. Great tires. Battery is 4 years old. Has Corbin heated seats with back rest. The original factory heated seats are included. I have a matching Corbin Smuggler that is not included in this auction but is available separately.

Has BMW Motorrad Navigator IV mounting system installed. GPS is not included in this auction but available separately.

A direct plug-in charging port for a battery tender added next to accessory plug.

Other items are Motolights and air horn, both powered through a Centech AP1 fuse panel located under rear seat.

2013 BMW HP4 Revealed – A Lighter, Track-Oriented S1000RR with Dynamic Damping and Launch Control

BMW unveiled a new, more track-oriented sportbike based on its highly-successful S1000RR. The new BMW HP4 is an evolution of BMW’s HP2 series with the S1000RR’s inline-four engine. Like the S1000RR, the HP4 claims 190 hp at 13,000 rpm and 83 ft-lb.

2013 BMW R1200GS Recalled in Canada for Potential Transmission Oil Leak

Transport Canada has announced a recall for the 2013 BMW R1200GS due to a potential risk of leaking transmission oil. As yet, no recall has been announced for the U.S. market by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, but we expect one shortly.

Following in the wake of the Biltwell 100 race, my confidence in the 390 Adventure and my ability to pilot it for long stretches off-road soared. The ability to combine the technical skills I learned in the ATX Moto Adventures and Sedlak Off Road classes, along with some good old-fashioned seat time, really paid off. In addition, there were two changes I made to the bike that firmly cemented my trust in piloting it through the sketchy sandy trails – a custom lowered seat from Seat Concepts, and some aggressive knobby tires.
