One owner, purchased new from BMW Motorcycles of Western Oregon. No known issues. No accidents or drops. BMW bag liners included. BMW flashing LED brake light added. Great tires. Battery is 4 years old. Has Corbin heated seats with back rest. The original factory heated seats are included. I have a matching Corbin Smuggler that is not included in this auction but is available separately. Has BMW Motorrad Navigator IV mounting system installed. GPS is not included in this auction but available separately. A direct plug-in charging port for a battery tender added next to accessory plug. Other items are Motolights and air horn, both powered through a Centech AP1 fuse panel located under rear seat. Nice bike, fast and fun. Ready to go. BSB Superstock Championship Winning BMW S1000RR Stolen
Mon, 26 Sep 2011British Superbike racer Richard Cooper’s BMW S1000RR racebike was stolen mere hours after winning the 2011 British national Superstock title. Thieves reportedly broke into the Buildbase BMW race team’s truck after it returned to the team’s base in Leicestershire, England, from the series-clinching round at Britain’s Silverstone circuit. According to the team, thieves optained the keys to a van holding Cooper’s winning motorcycle and Superbike class racer John Laverty’s BMW S1000RR Superbike.
BMW Motorrad USA Reports 7.4% Growth in 2011
Fri, 13 Jan 2012BMW Motorrad reported a 7.4% growth in U.S. sales in 2011, nearly double the growth reported in the previous year. The 7.4% growth is also higher than the overall worldwide growth of 6.4% BMW recently announced.
