2013 BMW HP4 Pricing Released
Fri, 05 Oct 2012A few weeks ago we tested BMW’s scintillating new HP4 version of the S1000RR, and we were blown away by the incredible competency of this class-leading superbike for the street, including its new semi-active Dynamic Damping Control suspension. What we didn’t know then was how princely a sum BMW would demand in its MSRP, but now we know. Initially, BMW announced U.S.
Shoei Neotec now in UK dealers
Mon, 12 Mar 2012SHOEI'S new Neoteh is now available in UK dealers. The new helmet, which is aimed directly at Schuberth and BMW's offerings, is priced at £470 and is Shoei's first helmet with a built-in drop-down sun visor. Here's what Feridax (Shoei's UK importer) have to say about it: The New Shoei NEOTEC – Fact File: See clearly in safety – Shoei’s first built-in, drop-down sun visor boasts additional space within the shell with no compromise of safety in the front absorption layer.
2015 BMW S1000XR Spied – Inline-Four Multistrada Rival on the Way
Mon, 31 Mar 2014Spy photographers have captured a new BMW adventure-tourer powered by the S1000RR’s Inline-Four engine. The new model, which we expect will be called the 2015 BMW S1000XR, will be more road-oriented than the company’s bread-and-butter GS line, offering a competitor to the likes of the Ducati Multistrada 1200 or the recently reviewed Aprilia Caponord 1200. Other publications that have published the spy photos (Insella.it and MotorcyclistOnline for example) have put forward names such as S1000F or S1000 ADV for the new model, but a trademark application BMW filed with the USPTO suggests it may be introduced as the “S1000XR”.
