BMW K-Series description

Up for sale is a 2003 BMW K1200RS with only 41,570 miles, finished in my favorite color scheme Blue and White. The performance of BMW a sport machine, the iron-clad reliability and comfort of a BMW tourer -- the best of both worlds bundled in the beauty of the K1200RS. Smoothly gliding over miles of winding road, this machine is beauty and brawn in a happy marriage. And if you want to customize your ride, the K1200's seat, handlebars, foot-pegs, clutch and brake levers can all be tweaked to suit your style. This is arguably the finest sport-tourer for high-speed, two-up travel. This bike is in great condition, it has new tires, fresh fluids, and it runs like the day it was new! BMW not only makes some of the best automobiles but they also make one killer motorcycle.

Harley's DEI Climbdown Isn't the Woke-ism Defeat You Think it Is

Wed, 21 Aug 2024

You may have seen this week that Harley-Davidson has decided to shelve its diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. Ostensibly, this action came as a result of criticism the company received from right-wing activists - certainly that's the way it's being reported in most media outlets. The thing is, I'm pretty sure that's incorrect.

A new entry-level class will debut in 2026 The World Supersport 300 championship is on its penultimate lap, with the entry-level racing series set to end following the 2025 racing season. According to an announcement from the Superbike Commission which sets the regulations for production-based racing, the 300 class will be replaced by a new entry-level series for 2026 and beyond. At a micro level, the news is not entirely surprising.

WSBK 2013: Moscow Race Report

Mon, 22 Jul 2013

Marco Melandri captured his third win of the season, the Ducati 1199 Panigale scored its first podium while Sylvain Guintoli regained the championship lead despite dislocating his collarbone days before the race. But the big news at Moscow Raceway of course was the tragic death of Andrea Antonelli in the World Supersport race. The opening-lap crash in severely wet conditions naturally led to the cancellation of the rest of the events as the World Superbike community mourns the loss of the 25-year-old Antonelli.
