2nd Owner, excellent shape and runs perfect!!!  FULLY LOADED-Heated hand grips and seats-front/rear AND back rest! Power adjustable windshield, AM/FM Stereo, Cassette Player, 6 Disc CD Player, plug in communication system, electric reverse, ABS brakes, tires great, all new fluids! 

Reason for selling:  We bought the bike in Sept of 2014 for touring.  The problem:  My wife developed back issues and is not able to sit for any period of time on the bike. 

Only problem with the bike is the rider's seat partially heats-passenger heats normal.  THAT'S IT!!! Otherwise, the bikes runs, drives, starts, stops as it should-LIKE NEW!  Its a beautiful machine! Ride anywhere with confidence!  Road ready!  RIDE IT HOME!

Transport Canada Recalls 2013 BMW R1200GS for Traction Control Bug

The 2013 BMW R1200GS hasn’t arrived in showrooms yet and it’s already been subjected to its second recall in Canada. Fortunately, this means the problems should be corrected before BMW‘s updated adventure-tourer gets delivered to customers. Earlier this month, Transport Canada announced a recall for the new R1200GS for a potential transmission oil leak.

2012-2013 BMW S1000RR Recalled for Loose Side Stands

BMW has initiated a recall on the 2012 and 2013 S1000RR because the side stands may not have been correctly installed. According to Transport Canada, the side stand attachment bolts may loosen, causing an S1000RR to fall over while resting on the stand. At the moment, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has yet to announce a recall, but American members of Motorcycle.com‘s S1000RR Forum say U.S.

BMW Produces 500,000th GS Boxer

BMW‘s most important model reached an important milestone as the 500,000th boxer-engined GS rolled off the company’s production line in Berlin, Germany. The landmark liquid-cooled 2014 R1200GS follows a lineage half a million strong of flat-twin adventure tourers tracing back to the first R80G/S produced in 1980. “As a plant it is a privilege for us to continue building on the successful history of the legendary flat-twin GS,” says Marc Sielemann, head of the Berlin plant which produces the bulk of BMW’s motorcycles since 1969.
