BMW K-Series description

Up for sale is my 93 BMW. Bike is in excellent condition with low miles and no known issues. Has new battery , a fresh oil change and tires are in fair condition. It has a factory radio ( not in bike, needed the extra storage) and a freshly reupholstered Corbin seat. Paint is in good condition with some small scratches and a nickel sized chip on the right pannier top. I have all the service records since the bike was new. It's always been garage kept and adult owned. I will be happy to answer any question. Cash out right no trades. Shipping arrangements are to be made by the buyer. I will assist in loading on this end.

New: BMW System 6 Evo helmet

Fri, 12 Apr 2013

BMW has released the new System 6 Evo flip-front helmet.  It retains the clean lines of the System 6, while increasing levels of comfort and practicality with a more scratch-resistant internal sun visor, a more robust visor mechanism designed to make operation with gloved hands easier, improved ventilation control on the chin, and a revised spoiler for better aerodynamics. BMW says it has a unique chin bar pivot which reduces the size of the helmet when the chin bar is upright. Weighing in at 1.57kg, the ECE 22-05 homologated Evo is a quiet lid, with noise levels registering at 84-86 dBA at 62 mph. The helmet comes ready for installation of the BMW Communication system, offering a Bluetooth connection to the BMW Navigator IV sat-nav, music players, mobile phones and other BMW helmets.

WSBK 2013: Magny-Cours Race Report

Mon, 07 Oct 2013

Tom Sykes snapped up a pair of wins at Magny-Cours, setting himself up in good position to capture his first World Superbike Championship at the season finale in Jerez in two weeks. The Kawasaki rider scored his series-leading eight and ninth victories of the season, giving him a commanding 37-point cushion over Eugene Laverty and 38 points ahead of Sylvain Guintoli. Sykes needs only score at least 13 points in total over the final two races at Jerez to secure the championship.

2022 BMW K1600 GT Christmas Chiseler Tour

Fri, 13 Jan 2023

Its not easy being a cheapskate on a $25,000 motorcycle Chrissy Rogers and I were toying with the idea of a pre-Christmas blast up the Pacific coast to Hearst Castle for a few days while business was slow, since the weather was an impeccable partly cloudy and 60-ish degrees. That or maybe the Ruta de Vino down Mexico way? Maybe hop in the new-to-me 23-year old Jaguar?
