LOWER FAIRING (BELLY PAN) COMES WITH THE BIKE BUT IS NOT ATTACHED. YOU WILL NEED TO GET MOUNTING HARDWARE FROM THE DEALER. COLOR IS CLASSIC BLACK METALLIC. BMW HARD BAGS. REAR MASTER CYLINDER HAS RECENTLY BEEN REBUILT. RECENT OIL AND FILTER CHANGE. SYNC PORT BLOCK OFFS REPLACED. NEW REAR BRAKE PADS. HAS A SMALL TEAR IN THE SEAT. BMW has released an exclusive anniversary edition of its road-going superbike, the M 1000 RR, to celebrate nearly a century of motorcycle production, but more specifically, to celebrate 50 years of BMW M vehicles. The most striking and distinctive feature of the 50th-anniversary edition M 1000 RR is the color – Sao Paulo Yellow.
2014 BMW R1200RT Officially Recalled in US
Thu, 03 Jul 2014BMW has officially recalled the 2014 R1200RT in the U.S., after the company released a worldwide warning to customers about a potential defect with the rear suspension system. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the piston rod on the R1200RT’s Dynamic Electronic Suspension Adjustment (ESA) rear shock absorber may break without warning. The problem was first discovered April 1 after a warranty claim was filed in France.
