1980 Yamaha XS (1980)
This Yamaha XS 1100 was really great bike when I bought it, but it's been sitting neglected in my garage. It will need a new battery and the carbs sunk plus anything else that a bike that sits idle will need.I have 5 motorcycles and I know I will never get around to getting the three that are not running back on the road. Every spring I tell myself I'm going to get this bike running. And then I spend the summer riding my two bikes that do run.This Yamaha is basically all stock except for the ape hangers I put on several years ago. And the big dent in the side of the tank-- I added that, too.I have the clean California title ready to sign over. If you're a motorcycle mechanic, this could be a great bike for you. Everything is all there. The bike is complete. If you are not a mechanic, this is probably not the bike for you.If you have any questions please post them on here. Thu, 24 Oct 2024Fourth-gen model receives significant updates Yamaha announced a new, fourth-generation MT-07, giving it significant updates to the styling and chassis, reducing weight, and debuting new features to its CP2 platform such as selectable ride modes and an optional automatic transmission. As of this writing, the 2025 Yamaha MT-07 has only been confirmed for Europe, but we expect the updates will also make their way to U.S. models.
