BMW F-Series description

Bike is in great condition, have been used for only 1 season, 6000 miles were done in 1 trip to Los Angeles summer 2014.

New break pads front and rear, new front fork, did 4 services on the bike, 600miles, 2500, 7500 and 1 year.
Warranty expires in December 2016. Bike was purchased new in May 2014 but was registered from the dealer in Dec 2013. 

It is an excellent bike, perfect for commute as well as long trip, good speed and maneuverability. Lot of fun.

I am only selling because i bought a sportbike May 2015 and haven't been riding the BMW as much as I thought I would.

Bike was purchased for 10k, + $1200 GIVI set, Over $2000 in services (you are good for at least 12 months or 10000 miles.

’50s BMW Scooter Prototype to Star at 2012 Concours di Motociclette

BMW is entering the scooter market this year with its C600 Sport and C650 GT maxi-scooters, but the German manufacturer almost entered the scooter segment nearly 60 years earlier. In the 1950s, BMW produced a pair of scooter prototypes it called the R10. The first prototype produced in 1953 was equipped with a 175cc Single producing about 8hp while the 1954 prototype (pictured above) was equipped with a 200cc producing about 10hp.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has officially announced the recall for the 2012 BMW S1000RR, providing more information about the problem. According to documents released by NHTSA, the bolts on the connecting rods in the BMW S1000RR may come loose because of an anti-corrosive agent applied to the bolts. The anti-corrosive agent may effect the bolt torque, potentially leading them to come loose, particularly at high temperatures or rpms.

EICMA 2011 Preview: BMW Maxi-Scooters to Debut in Milan

BMW will present its 2012 lineup at the upcoming EICMA show in Milan, Italy, but the centerpiece will be the company’s first maxi-scooters. The German manufacturer is expected to reveal two scooter models, both derived from the Concept C BMW unveiled at the 2010 EICMA show. The two scooters are expected to be powered by a version of the parallel Twin engine used in the F800R, but with a lower displacement in the 500cc-650cc range.
