BMW F-Series description

The F800GT is the ideal middle weight sport touring bike. The bike is in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition with 3893 miles, and is under factory warranty until November 23, 2016. Not a scratch on it and runs perfect. Color is Dark Graphite Metallic.

The bike came with the following factory options: Premium Package which has everything that is offered for this bike. On Board Computer, Electronic Suspension Adjustment, Auto Stability Control, Tire Pressure Monitor, Heated Grips, Center Stand, Comfort Seat, Key FOB activated Security System.

I’ve added a Suburban Machinery foot peg lowering kit (about 1.5” lower) and Verholen bar risers ( 2” Diagonal Up & Back)  which make for a roomier and more comfortable riding position. I also installed Z Technik VStream Touring Clear Windshield, Front Fenda Extenda, Side Stand Foot Enlarger Plate, BMW expandable quick release tank storage bag. Over one thousand dollar worth of extras has been added.

This is a very comfortable riding and great handling motorcycle but after 55 years of riding motorcycle I have decided to give it up and is why it is being sold.
This motorcycle looks and runs like brand new and has been well cared for, needs nothing but a good home. I have all the paperwork, service receipts and a clear title.
If you would like to inspect the bike or ask any questions, email or give me a call or text 269-697-3520.
I am not a dealer, so there are no additional charges or sales tax.

BMW Design Chief David Robb Steps Down; Edgar Heinrich Named Successor

Mon, 30 Jan 2012

David Robb, the man responsible for BMW‘s split-face motorcycle design, has left the German manufacturer. A native of Boston, Mass., Robb joined BMW as its design chief in 1993, and over the ensuing 18 years expanded the company’s product line to include the top selling R1200GS, the six-cylinder K1600GT and GTL, and the S1000RR superbike (that’s him on the far right in the picture above). The 56-year-old’s latest design to enter production are the C600 Sport and C650GT maxi-scooters.

Wed, 25 Sep 2013

The German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) has announced the winner of its 2013 Design Awards, which asked students from across the world to submit their final graduating projects completed between October 2011 and July 2013. Eric Leong from Sweden's Umeå Institute of Design, came in first place with his 'Audi Elite' project, earning himself €4,000. Leong's single-person vehicle can be controlled using the entire body through gestures and movements, and adapts to the needs of the driver, giving them more control.
