BMW F-Series tech info
BMW F-Series description
2012 BMW F650GS. Parallel twin, 798cc. This isn't the older single cylinder F650.
291mi. Hardly ridden. Options include: ABS-switchable on and off from the bars. Factory lowered suspension option. Lower seat option. Accessory socket for your GPS and other electronics. Heated hand grips. Crash bars. Clearwater LED lights. Perfect for someone with a shorter inseam that has trouble standing over a lot of bikes and safely being able to put both feet on the ground at a stop. Selling for a consignment customer of mine. I'm not a dealer just someone who sells on ebay a lot. He doesn't want to deal with selling it himself. He bought it for his wife and she basically never found the time to ride it much. They decided after it sitting in the garage for too long that it was time to let it go. Just had a complete dealer service at a cost of $450. Oil & filter change. New battery. Brake fluid changed. Complete itemized inspection and service receipt from the dealer. Clear title in hand. Cash in hand and valid M1 endorsement needed to test ride. Available to view at my warehouse by appointment if you're local(San Francisco bay area). |

2012 BMW C600 Sport and C650GT Scooter Preview
Tue, 08 Nov 2011While Japanese OEMs persist in their cautiousness, BMW continues its assault on new markets, most recently with its incredible S1000RR literbike. Over the past four years, the German company has nearly doubled its 500cc-plus market share from about 7% to 13%, and the 2011 model year is on pace to set a sales record of more than 103,000 motorcycles. For 2012, BMW enters the lucrative scooter segment with a pair of twin-cylinder maxi-scoots claimed to combine the agility and comfort of a scooter with the riding qualities of a motorcycle.
Vines motorcycle scrappage
Fri, 17 Jul 2009Following this year’s earlier Budget announcement about the government’s car scrappage scheme, Vines of Guildford BMW has created a similar scheme for motorcycles. Bike owners with motorcycles bought five or more years ago will be given £1,000 off the list price of a new BMW motorcycle when using their old bike as a part-exchange*. Riders just need to ensure they have at least six months MOT left and the bike must be taxed with clear HPI. Just like the Government’s car scrappage scheme has been put in place to help drivers, and the car industry, through tough economic times, Vines of Guildford wanted to offer motorcyclists the same opportunity, to purchase a brand new BMW motorcycle with the benefit of the £1,000 part exchange. As well as enjoying this benefit on the purchase price of a new BMW bike, riders can also look forward to complimentary panniers with all new R1200GS and R1200GS Adventure models, and complimentary Zumo sat nav system with the new R1200RT until 30 Sept, plus access to BMW’s Select Finance options to get riders on their bikes straight away with the option to change their new bike every two to three years.
