BMW S1000RR description
2012 S1000RR. Runs and rides great by far the greatest bike I have ever owned, but havent got to use it much since being in NY so I am switching to a cheaper supermoto.
I personally ordered this and picked it up brand new while stationed in Germany thru BMW in June 2012. Her first 3500 miles were in Germany and initial services performed there as well In 2013 I brought it back to the states (ordered it U.S. Spec) and will include for your enjoyment the import documents, initial order form, BMW bill of sale, copy of the certificate of origin and a clean transferable AZ title. In AZ I put about 1000 miles on it and now in NY i am about to hit 1000 miles (I will ride it until sold and currently at 5400miles). This bike is stock and unmolested other than the undertail kit and adjustable clutch lever. This is the first bike I have owned that came perfect from the factory other than the undertail. Has all options from the factory to include: ABS Dynamic Traction Control Quick Shift Assist Alarm System Heated grips Has Rain, Sport, Race, Slick modes on the bike that vary the degree of HP and traction control. Comes with 2 keys and fobs. Feel free to ask any questions. (if local and have a supermoto or other bike you are looking to partial trade just let me know, I may be interested) I will assist with whatever means of shipping you choose. Nice unmolested Direct from Germany 1 owner machine~ Priced below NADA value of 12,770. $500 non-refundable deposit due immediately upon closing The remainder must be received in 7 days thru cash, check, money order etc...Bike will not leave my possession until payment clears. |

The future of law enforcement?
Mon, 12 Jul 2010THANKFULLY you're not looking at latest addition to the US Police force's motorcycle fleet - it's the futuristic machine that featured in the 2009 movie "Star Trek" .It's being prepped before being suspended mid-air in the "Born to be Wild: Vintage and Celebrity Motorcycles" exhibition in the Reagan Library's Air Force One Pavilion in Simi Valley, California. Looks a bit like a BMW R1200S, don't you think?
NHTSA Proposes Minimum Sound Standards for Electric Vehicles
Tue, 08 Jan 2013For years now, the motorcycle industry has had to design its motorcycles and their exhaust systems to stay below government-mandated sound levels, particularly with off-road motorcycles. The burgeoning electric vehicle industry may bring about the opposite now, with governments proposing minimum sound levels for the mostly silent-running electric cars and motorcycles. Firefighting Motorcycle
Fri, 17 Apr 2009Ever had an officer ask you “where’s the fire?” after being pulled over for speeding? Well now you have a good excuse. This converted BMW R1200RT has two 20 or 25 liter tanks (contain a premix of water and foam) mounted on either side that is connected to a 6.8 liter compressed air tank on the back of the bike that has a 20 to 30 meter hose. They are currently being used in the U.K.
