6 speed Enduro Transmission, Fog Lights, Hand Protection, Heated Grips, Michelin Tires, On-Board Computer, YUASA Maintenance Free Battery, Saddle Bag Mounts, etc.

Excellent Condition. I never had any problem with this bike. I bought this bike new from BMW Motorcycle dealership in December 2007. It has minor scuffs on the aluminum engine protection guard. The bike is current on all of its services and oil changes. There is no dent on this bike!

This is a great bike! I’m selling it because I don’t get to use it very much in this area. The winters are too long and during the summer I travel.

Calling all BMW S1000RR owners ...

Mon, 02 Aug 2010

BMW has announced the HP Race Cover Kit for the company's highly-acclaimed S1000RR superbike. The kit aimed at trackday goers, replaces parts removed by owners prior to taking their bike out on track. Covers for the numberplate hanger, mirrors and indicators – all of which have been designed to facilitate simple and easy removal - neatly fill any gaps left by the removed parts.

MINI Scooter E Concept Revealed

Thu, 23 Sep 2010

MINI has just officially revealed not one, but two of its MINI Scooter E Concepts that will officially debut at the Paris Auto Show next week. Created to bring together a youth-oriented lifestyle element and sustainable mobility, the scooters take significant design cues from the MINI lineup of cars while using a lithium-ion battery pack to deliver guilt-free mobility. Making the MINI E Scooter Concept almost excessively hip is its smartphone integration, where the owner’s iPod or similar device acts as the actual key for the scooter, clicking into a central docking station between the handlebars.

The future. But we can't have it

Thu, 10 Nov 2011

It's no secret that we motorcyclists are getting older. We're ageing because less people are passing their bike test each year (roughly 30,000 last year compared to 50,000 for the 10 years before the new two-part test) and so not only is the pool not growing it's not even being replenished and so the average age isn't being diluted down by yoof. When the going gets tough in any situation, you really get to see who's got their shit-sorted and who's light enough on their feet to adapt to change.
