1996 R1100GS - Very Nice!
47xxxk miles (currently riding) Excellent running.
Details:
Recent Metzler Tourance on the rear (1000 miles on it or so);
Recent rear shock by Progressive Suspension ($$$ - also about 1000k on it);
Soft touring bags that saddle over the sides of the tank;
Givi Windscreen
Some other extras in a box - throttle lock, grab rail . . .
Corbin seats - both rider and passenger (rider seat is going to eventually need a new skin, it cost 60% of original price, $399, from Corbin; the seat has a couple small tears and the stitching is wearing; Corbin wait time is 6 weeks now, but this is not an imperative fix - there's tape on the seat to preserve it as long as possible - see pictures).
The bike is equipped with ABS, however it does not engage and hasn't for the last 5,000k miles - it may be the sensors or the modulator - I don't know, and I haven't test it. I prefer to ride without it.

2014 BMW R1200GS Adventure Revealed
Mon, 07 Oct 2013BMW has updated its R1200GS Adventure for 2014, giving it similar updates introduced on the R1200GS including the liquid-cooled 1170cc boxer engine. The more off-road capable version of the GS now has more power than ever before, as well as the option of coming with BMW’s semi-active suspension. Used Review: Arai RX-7 Corsair helmet
Thu, 01 Apr 2010This is the lid that saved me from a face full of road and stopped a big bacon slicer (a front disc) from carving a canyon in the top of my head. This helmet was transformed from gleaming white accessory to scrap when I got back from taking the new BMW S1000RR to Morocco. A pedestrian ran into me from behind a bus and the two of us hit the ground. She’s okay and so am I apart from getting knocked out and breaking my shoulder.
