The condition of this machine is completely original. Everything from the frame to the motor to the fenders is exactly the way it came from the factory. I believe I am the third owner from new, but can’t be positive. This machine has been a part of my collection for a long time and is ridden. The bike is stored in a temperature controlled environment throughout the entire year. When I purchased this particular machine, it was in the condition you see in the photos, but had not run in some time, since the owner was up in age and not able to ride anymore. I went through the entire machine and got everything working. All of the major engine, transmission, and braking components are operational. The tires are in good condition and are not in need of replacement. The brakes have also been completely rebuilt, front and rear. The engine and transmission are original and are in perfect running condition. The bike starts very easily. A brand new battery was also just installed. The paint is original and in very nice condition, considering the age of the machine. The seat pan is original, but as you can see from the photos, has the king and queen cover on it. The ability to combine the technical skills I learned in the ATX Moto Adventures and Sedlak Off Road classes, along with some good old-fashioned seat time, really paid off. In addition, there were two changes I made to the bike that firmly cemented my trust in piloting it through the sketchy sandy trails – a custom lowered seat from Seat Concepts, and some aggressive knobby tires.

Wed, 26 Jun 2024Back in the Black Photos by Fabio Polimeni In November 2022 Italian trophy brand MV Agusta, wholly owned since 2019 by Russian entrepreneur Timur Sardarov and his family, and Pierer Mobility AG – KTM’s parent company – reached an agreement on ‘future strategic cooperation’, as a result of which the Austrian firm headed by Stefan Pierer would acquire a 25.10% stake in MV Agusta via its KTM AG subsidiary. At the first meeting of the newly constituted MV Agusta board on November 15, a capital increase of €30 million was agreed, denoting the sum KTM had paid to acquire its new minority shareholding in the company. As part of this strategic alliance KTM took charge of purchasing all components needed to manufacture MV Agusta’s entire range of models, as well as responsibility for marketing, distribution and after-sales service for MV Agusta on a global basis outside Italy.
