Brought to California after a death in the family. Titled and registered in California, after finding how to locate a hidden engine number for our impossible DMV. From photos, you see bike has been well maintained over the years, and what it sold for less than 3 years ago. I've been riding since 1970 and find this BMW 1200 to be just as smooth and powerful as any of my other sport bikes (1100 Yamaha's and Honda's and one 1200 Harley Sportster). But, it's too tall for me. My loss. I recently sold another bike to a buyer (see my comments) and offered to deliver it to him for a price, which he accepted after dealing with motorcycle shipping services. In the photos you'll see the red BMW on a flatbed trailer. I could also use it to deliver it to you, as I used it to bring it home here, from the Midwest. My price is simple, IRS mileage one-way with a minimum $200. Or, you could come pick it up in person and ride it home, from San Diego. Or arrange for a pickup here. The ability to combine the technical skills I learned in the ATX Moto Adventures and Sedlak Off Road classes, along with some good old-fashioned seat time, really paid off. In addition, there were two changes I made to the bike that firmly cemented my trust in piloting it through the sketchy sandy trails – a custom lowered seat from Seat Concepts, and some aggressive knobby tires.

Wed, 26 Jun 2024Back in the Black Photos by Fabio Polimeni In November 2022 Italian trophy brand MV Agusta, wholly owned since 2019 by Russian entrepreneur Timur Sardarov and his family, and Pierer Mobility AG – KTM’s parent company – reached an agreement on ‘future strategic cooperation’, as a result of which the Austrian firm headed by Stefan Pierer would acquire a 25.10% stake in MV Agusta via its KTM AG subsidiary. At the first meeting of the newly constituted MV Agusta board on November 15, a capital increase of €30 million was agreed, denoting the sum KTM had paid to acquire its new minority shareholding in the company. As part of this strategic alliance KTM took charge of purchasing all components needed to manufacture MV Agusta’s entire range of models, as well as responsibility for marketing, distribution and after-sales service for MV Agusta on a global basis outside Italy.
