1965 BMW R-Series (1965)
R60/2 1965 BMW 39,200 miles all matching numbers— for sale is my exceptional and original R60/2, this motorcycle is an absolute joy to ride as it runs flawlessly. I purchased the R60/2 in 2011 from an older gentlemen in Pennsylvania who only rode it in parades, he maintained it mechanically and always keeping it garaged. the engine is strong and has been meticulously maintained with regular engine oil changes, transmission, and final drive. it has always been garaged and never sat with a spec of dirt on it, nor ridden in a rainstorm.2016-10-16 04:41:39Salt Lake City, Utah, United States3912310

1976 R90/6 R90 1045cc big bore from San Jose BMW Toaster Cafe builder I ship! (1976)
I am really in love with BMW airheads right now and have a couple projects going. The plan was to make this into a cafe or use the engine for another project and part out the rest. The previous owner put on a big bore kit that really gives this bike some grunt! The Mikunis could use some top end tuning but are much simpler to work over the Bings I'm used to. The body has been rattle canned and looks ok from a distance but very obvious when you get closer. For me, I'd respray if I was to keep it. There are a couple issues that are noteworthy. The bike does drip a bit of oil after being ridden. I don't know exactly where from but plan on some new gaskets if you want to fix this. The previous owner rode it like this and wasn't concerned, just kept her topped off. I'm very picky and would re seal if it was me. also, the bolt that attaches the valve cover in the center is loose. It's not needed to hold the valve cover on, but should be taken care of. Again, previous owner didn't mind, I'd prefer to fix it. I do have the speedo/tach combo if you would like to have it with the bike. The wiring is all there, just not on the bike currently. It shows 18.5K miles. The head and tail lights along with signals are working although no front signals installed. I've priced it based on the current condition and well under parts value. I'm sure the smartest thing I could do is part out the bike but It's too nice to do that. I love this style of bike, tank and especially the peanut style heads. I can help you with shipping by meeting with your driver or using one of my resources. California or Arizona are very easy places for me to ship to, typically 300 or so.2013-10-14 00:04:54Salt Lake City, Utah, US13,500.00

What’s The Deal With KTM Camshafts?
Fri, 18 Oct 2024Motorcycle.com digs for the truth behind the 790 camshaft hullabaloo Photo by Sebas Romero The internet can be a cruel place sometimes. Keyboard warriors, safe behind the anonymity of their computer screens, can spew words without much thought about the facts or the far reaches of where their words could be seen or heard. What’s worse, seemingly innocent or off-the-cuff remarks can be picked up by a third party and spread like wildfire.
How To Adjust the Clutch Cable on a Motorcycle
Thu, 17 Oct 2024It goes by many names: Clutch free play, clutch slack, or clutch tension describes the amount of free movement your motorcycle’s clutch lever has before it begins pulling on the clutch cable itself. Why does that matter? The clutch installed on your bike is a wear item, and as the friction plates within the clutch wear out from countless engagements and disengagements, they become thinner.

2025 Honda NT1100 Updated for Europe, but Still Not Coming Here
Fri, 04 Oct 2024More than 12,000 sold since 2022, but 0 in North America Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: Honda has updated one of its most popular models in Europe, but it’s still not coming to North America. We’ve heard that refrain a lot over the years, and it’s no different for the NT1100 sport-tourer. Introduced in Europe in 2022, the NT1100 is a sport-touring model that shares much of its bones with the CRF1100L Africa Twin.
2025 Husqvarna Vitpilen 801 – First Look
Wed, 02 Oct 2024The Svartpilen 801 has a new roadster-styled sibling, as Husqvarna announces the new “White Arrow” Vitpilen 801. Like the Black Arrow, the Vitpilen adopts the 799cc LC8c Parallel-Twin of the KTM 790 Duke, offering yet a new option to the shared platform. Ryan Adams recently reviewed the Svartpilen 801 and found it a “worthy contender in the market that brings its own unique style alongside proven performance.” That theme continues with the new Vitpilen, which brings its own take, with more aggressive ergonomics and a bright splash of color in yellow (a silver color is also available if you prefer something less flashy).
