I am the second owner purchased through a 3rd party after first owner put the bike down. Nose panel, right side logo panel, mirror and side case were replaced. Also swapped out the following parts from a 2006 bike with 24000 miles to upgrade existing: rotors, final drive, ESA shock. Cases have some scratches as does the right valve cover. Locks do not match on cases but can be rekeyed. Cruise control switch does not work but cruise is on and works as should. Otherwise, bike has been very well maintained. I drove last year for 3000 miles with absolutely no problems. Added Sargent Seat and bar risers. Seats are heated but I have not hooked up as they did not come with factory plug. Only able to put a couple hundred miles on this year and daughter in college so need to sell. Great chance to get a very good bike at a reasonable price. 2006 BMW R1150R with hard cases (2006)
I bought this bike at Newmarket Motorad in October of 2010 and it had full servicing done on it then. It had 40687 kms when I bought it and now has just over 43300 on it. I bought an oil change kit including oil, filter, ring and wrench that comes with the bike. I have owners manual as well. I has BMW side hard bags that use the ignition key and a Kanna rear hard bag that has a separate key. All bags are removable. The one bag has a sticker that says "Old Guys Rule". The bike comes with two keys. Leo Vince slip on exhaust, I lowered the pegs since I am just over 6'1" and the handles bars were pushed back when I bought the back. It has a windshield that I meant to take off and heated grips for those cold mornings. Only premium fuel put in it and stabilizer in winters when stored in my heated garage. Mon, 11 Nov 2013Valentino Rossi has parted ways with longtime crew chief Jeremey Burgess, ending a partnership that extended across 14 years and three different manufacturers while capturing seven MotoGP and 500cc Grand Prix World Championships. Burgess will be replaced by Louis CK lookalike Silvano Galbusera, a veteran crew chief and mechanic whose most extensive experience comes from World Superbike and Supersport racing. As crew chief and/or technical director, Galbusera has worked with an impressive roster of riders including Troy Corser, Noriyuki Haga, Cal Crutchlow and Ben Spies.

Tue, 05 Nov 2013BMW revealed a new naked version of its flagship S1000RR superbike, presenting the new 2014 S1000R at the 2013 EICMA show in Milan. Follow the rest of our 2013 EICMA show coverage The 999cc inline-Four engine has been retuned for low- to mid-range performance, with redesigned cylinder head ducts, modified cam profiles, updated engine management and a 2000 rpm reduction in the rev limit. BMW claims a peak output of 158 hp at 11000 rpm, compared to the S1000RR’s 193 hp claims.

There are so many new bikes coming out at the 2013 EICMA show, it was hard enough to narrow it down to just 10, but that doesn’t excuse us forgetting BMW is adding another model powered by the new R1200GS‘ liquid-cooled boxer engine.
