BMW R-Series description

This BMW 1200 GS is garage kept and has not been off road yet the motorcycle only has 1840 miles barely broken in. It has had its first service only reason i am selling it is that we are getting ready to buy a house. the bike has lower crash bars as seen on the picture. Earlier this week, we wrote about BMW inviting some special guests to witness the start of production for its R nineT roadster. Along with a couple of German celebrities such as television chef Horst Lichter and actor Ronald Zehrfeld, the guests included custom motorcycle shop Urban Motor. BMW tasked Urban Motor with creating the first custom R nineT to highlight the motorcycle’s potential.

WE'VE SEEN videos of BMW's stunning new S1000RR pulling wheelies, stunting, sliding, racing a 700bhp Corvette, featured in a music video - we've even had a look inside the engine and now the company are using the 190bhp superbike as part of a new-style drag act - but not the Danny La Rue type. Real or not, the clip makes for amusing viewing.  Have a look.

BMW Sales Down 2.3% in First Half of 2012 but Record Finish Still Predicted

BMW predicts a record year for motorcycle sales despite a 2.3% dip over the first six months. The first half of 2012 saw BMW sell 59,189 units, down from the 60,580 units reported for the same period in 2011. The decrease is primarily because of a 13.2% drop in sales in June.
