BMW R-Series description

2014 BMW R1200RTW. This bike was purchased with a brand title and has been completely restored to like new condition. It has had all of the recall items updated based on the VIN number report. 

The BMW 2014 comes with luxury package from BMW which includes; Dynamic ESA, Hill Start Control, Gear Shift Assist Pro, Comfort Package, Dynamic Package, Radio Software, Cruise Control, Heated Seats, Accessory Socket, Bluetooth Interface Control, Headlight Pro ( 2015 model headlight replaced), Ride Modes Pro, Touring Package, Audio System With Radio, Chrome Exhaust Pipe, TPMS, Anti Theft Alarm System, Heated Grips, Adjustable Windshield. 

This bike is in great condition with only 869 original miles. The damage was limited to the the replacement of the headlight mounting bracket, headlight, and side lateral panels right mirror and turn signal.  The right radiator was replaced and the front forks to endure the best possible condition.  It rides and drives like new. The rest of this bike is in exact same condition as when it was purchased. All been replaced with BMW OEM parts. 

This bike is in perfect running condition.  A video inspection can be shared directly with a prospective buyer.

Dainese to Develop Airbag-Equipped Riding Gear for BMW; Technology Coming to BMW Motorcycles in 2015

BMW announced a new joint project with Dainese that would develop a new line of rider equipment using the Italian company’s integrated airbag technology. The two companies will also be working on integrating the technology to BMW’s motorcycles. The new line will make use of Dainese’s D-Air technology developed by MotoGP racers such as Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi.

A hundred years of BMW Motorrad BMW Motorrad is commemorating its 100th anniversary with the release of Special Heritage editions of the R nineT and R18. BMW will produce 1,923 units of each model, recognizing the debut of the brand’s first motorcycle, the R 32, in September 1923 at the German Motor Show in Berlin. Both models come with a number of chrome and Option 719 parts, including some milled pieces and several paint-on-chrome surfaces.

Schaller Replacing von Kuenheim as Head of BMW Motorrad

BMW is shuffling its management team, with current head of the its motorcycle business Hendrik von Kuenheim getting reassigned to the automotive side of the company. He will be replaced by Stephan Schaller on June 1 in a domino-effect series of reassignments. Pictured to the left in the picture above, Von Kuenheim has been in charge of the motorrad portfolio since 2008.
