For sale 2014 BMW R1200RTW. This bike comes with 11K miles. This bike is in very good over all condition. Last owner dropped this bike on its right side which caused some damages such as, right valve cover, right mirror, right turn signal, right lateral panel, and right headlight cover. The rest of this bike is in exact same condition as when it was purchased. All been replaced with BMW OEM parts. Valve cover guards been installed for the future protection of this bike. I am posting a picture at the time of purchase for the buyer to see at what condition it was purchased. No issues with this bike. New Michelin Pro Pilot 4 tires. BMW Quitting WSBK After 2013 Season
Wed, 24 Jul 2013BMW announced it will withdraw its factory support from the World Superbike Championship at the end of the 2013 season. According to BMW, the company will concentrate on its production models including the addition of new small-displacement models and reaching developing markets. BMW Motorrad will also shift resources to other motorsports activities such as supporting customer racing efforts in both international and domestic competitions.

The 1973 BMW R90S was a chunk of pure unobtanium, from a planet far, far away, that knocked my striped tube socks completely off. Ian Falloon wrote an entire 128-page book about it.
Öhlins Introduces Electronically Adjustable Suspension System Replacement for BMW R1200GS ESA
Thu, 11 Aug 2011Öhlins has introduced what it is calling the world’s first replacement electronic suspension system, with a new aftermarket replacement kit for the BMW R1200GS’s Enduro ESA system. Like BMW‘s ESA and ESA II technology, Öhlins’ system lets riders adapt a motorcycle’s suspension with the push of a button. Öhlins’ system works with the R1200GS’s ECU and the existing user interface.
