2014 BMW R1200 RT water cooled sport touring motorcycle. Voted 2014 Motorcycle Magazine Sport Touring Motorcycle of the Year. 125 horsepower, 92 foot-pounds of torque. Excels both on the open road and on the twisties. The bike is in fantastic shape. Equipped with a baffled Remus Hexacone muffler. Sounds great under acceleration, nice and quiet when cruising. Stock muffler also included. Illium Works engine guard bars mounted with auxiliary lights. Custom seat by Seth Laam. Lowered pegs, stock pegs included. Auxiliary power run to the cockpit. RAM mounts on both left and right control clamps. Brand new Michelin Pilot Road 4 tires. Bike was purchased in December, 2014 so there's 17 months and 28,000 miles left on the 36 month/36,000 mile transferrable warranty. Accessories include Dynamic ESA suspension, linked ABS, traction control, ASC (Automatic Stability Control), power adjustable windscreen, heated grips and both driver and passenger seats, cruise control, Ride Modes Pro, Bluetooth audio system including XM, Hill Assist, TPM (Tire Pressure Monitor), color matched side cases. BMW Reports Q3 2012 Results
Tue, 06 Nov 2012BMW reported a new company record for third quarter motorcycle sales, selling 26,755 BMW motorcycles in the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2012. The record result is a 1.7% increase over the 26,312 units sold in the third quarter of 2011.

Mon, 27 Feb 2012Max Biaggi won the opening race to the 2012 World Superbike Championship while defending champion Carlos Checa came back from a high-speed crash in the first race to win the second at Australia’s Phillip Island circuit. Reigning champion Checa of Althea Ducati had a stunning high-side crash while leading on the sixth lap of Race One. The WSBK paddock was already in shock with the death of 17-year-old Oscar McIntyre in the Superstock 600 race the day before but thankfully Checa was not seriously injured.
BMW Reports Q3 2011 Results
Thu, 03 Nov 2011The BMW Group reported a 14.8% increase in motorcycle revenue and a 6.5% increase in unit sales during the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2011. The German manufacturer sold 28,862 units over the quarter, including 26,312 BMW-branded motorcycles and 2,550 units from its Husqvarna subsidiary.
