Low Miles, Beautiful color and excellent condition. This is the classic BMW Sport/touring model with the proven two cylinder boxer engine with 6-speed transmission. Standard Features include ABS, ESA, cruise control, onboard computer, heated seats and grips, adjustable windshield and saddle bags. Extra features include V-Stream windscreen for added wind protection, Russel Day-long seats(heated), extra Corbin Low-Seat for easy ground reach and a GIVI top-case with brake lights. Bike had 12K mile service at local BMW dealership. Runs great and tons of fun. I just have too many toys and not enough time to enjoy them all. Looking for a good home and an enthusiastic rider! 2015 BMW R1200GS Receives Minor Update and New Options
Fri, 04 Jul 2014The liquid-cooled BMW R1200GS receives a slight tweak for 2015 along with new optional quick shifter and keyless ignition system. The Adventure version also gets these new options as well as new choices to lower the seat height. The 2015 GS receives the heavier crankshaft introduced on the 2014 R1200GS Adventure and R1200RT.
BMW Acquires Original Factory
Wed, 26 Feb 2014BMW has acquired a 3.2-acre parcel of land that includes the company’s original factory. Built in 1918, the historic site in the Milbertshofen district of Munich, Germany, housed BMW’s original aircraft engine production plant. The company says the land will become the new home for BMW Group Classic, a subsidiary that documents BMW’s past.
