BMW R-Series description

I have owned this bike since new and love the ride and power. It has individual control heated front and rear seat, cruise control, heated grips, power windshield and ABS brakes.  It has around 22500 highway miles and has had the 6K, 12K and 18K mile service performed by Daytona Beach BMW. New Bridgestone Batlaxx tires with approximately 200 miles. It comes with all manuals, paperwork and extra key.  There are some scratches on the side cases due to a wheelbarrow my wife parks beside my bike.  KBB is 11,000 dollars.

They are currently being used in the U.K.

2024 BMW F 900 GS Review – First Ride

Fri, 12 Jul 2024

The middleweight GS gets a significant performance boost Despite having been around the longest, BMW’s middleweight machines haven’t been leading the pack since the current adventure craze took off. As of late, the F 800/850 haven’t been top of the performance heap on-road or off. BMW aims to change that with its all-new F 900 GS.

New: BMW System 6 Evo helmet

Fri, 12 Apr 2013

BMW has released the new System 6 Evo flip-front helmet.  It retains the clean lines of the System 6, while increasing levels of comfort and practicality with a more scratch-resistant internal sun visor, a more robust visor mechanism designed to make operation with gloved hands easier, improved ventilation control on the chin, and a revised spoiler for better aerodynamics. BMW says it has a unique chin bar pivot which reduces the size of the helmet when the chin bar is upright. Weighing in at 1.57kg, the ECE 22-05 homologated Evo is a quiet lid, with noise levels registering at 84-86 dBA at 62 mph. The helmet comes ready for installation of the BMW Communication system, offering a Bluetooth connection to the BMW Navigator IV sat-nav, music players, mobile phones and other BMW helmets.
