For sale 2008 BMW R1200GS. Excellent used condition with no dents or dings. No mechanical problems. Don't hesitate to make me a reasonable offer. Must sell due to recent job change and it is no longer in the budget. Fun to ride and has a lot of accessories like Akrapovic exhaust, heated grips, engine guards, Jesse hard saddlebags, PIAA lights, GPS mount, a custom seat with height adjustment, and more. It is equipped with ESA, the BMW electronically adjustable suspension so the ride is great no matter what terrain you're on. It has ABS and a full gauge readout with tire pressure, engine oil status, temperature, miles to empty, and more. This bike is top of the line and doesn't need anything but ridden. Recently serviced at Bloodworth BMW in Nashville, TN where it was also purchased. Only one owner before me. It has low miles at 32,000. Getting a sense of the clutch release point, brake feel, throttle response and riding position may all differ from what you have been accustomed, but they slowly become second nature after enough seat time is logged. One such control that strays from this rule of thumb is the turn signal operation of many BMWs.
WSBK 2013: Aragon Race Report
Mon, 15 Apr 2013BMW Motorrad Goldbet racer Chaz Davies scored his first career World Superbike double victory, taking both races at Spain’s Aragon circuit. The wins were the second and third of Davies’ WSBK career (the first came last year at Nurburgring for the ParkinGo Aprilia team) and the second ever double in the series for BMW. The Welsh rider and former AMA Pro Racing competitor has had some success at Aragon, getting his first career WSBK podium at the Spanish track in 2012.

Olivier de Vaulx, a long-time collaborator with our friends over at Upshift Magazine as well as many other international publications, has launched a project of his own on Kickstarter this week: A 200-page photo book that compiles 10 years of riding in the most remote places of the West. Cutting no corners, as Olivier says, this book will be a 9 x 12 inch hardcover, printed on archival-quality paper.
