2013 BMW R1250 Roadster Spy Photos
Mon, 11 Jun 2012[Ed.: The original spy photos have been taken down by request. Instead, here is a picture of the current R1200R model.] BMW is preparing to launch the ground-up redesign of its iconic R1200GS in a new 1250cc-or-so liquid-cooled Boxer powerplant, a speculative profile of which you can read about here. But there’s more Boxer-oriented news to come from BMW for 2013.
BMW Standardizes Switches
Thu, 23 Oct 2008Whenever you throw your leg over a bike that isn’t your own, there is always a few minutes needed to become familiar with the proportions and controls of the foreign machine. One such control that strays from this rule of thumb is the turn signal operation of many BMWs.
BMW Fuel Pump Recall Hits US, Affecting 50,184 Motorcycles
Mon, 06 Jan 2014A recall affecting 18 different BMW motorcycle models from seven model years has been announced for the U.S., affecting 50,184 motorcycles. At issue is a potential leak in the fuel pumps or auxiliary fuel pumps on 2005-2011 BMW R series models, 2005-2012 K series models, 2006-2010 HP2 models and 2010-2011 S1000RR sportbikes. A similar recall was announced last month in Canada, affecting 6,325 motorcycles, and we knew it was a matter of time before the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced one for the U.S.
