2006 BMW R1150RTP Police Motorcycle. Was dealer maintained, runs and rides well, like new tires, adjustable windscreen and seat. All lights and sirens have been removed. Retains crash bars which have a few scuffs and scrapes. Finish is glossy and clean, a few marks where siren rubbed against fairing. It has the low profile saddle bags. The saddle bags are not painted. Radio box is empty and offers good storage space. Keys for all locks match. Motorcycle is also for sale locally so may end at any time. 2014 WSBK – Aragon Results
Mon, 14 Apr 2014Reigning World Superbike Champion Tom Sykes put on a clinic this weekend, leading every lap in both races to claim a pair of wins at Spain’s Motorland Aragon circuit. Sykes’ Kawasaki teammate Loris Baz was right there with him, recording a pair of second-place podiums to give Team Green a pair of one-two finishes. Sykes and Baz were also one-two in the Superpole qualifying on this nearly flawless weekend for the Kawasaki factory team.
2013 BMW F800GT Revealed in CARB and EPA Documents
Fri, 31 Aug 2012Documents released by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the California Air Resources Board confirm the existence of a new member of BMW‘s F800 lineup, the F800GT. The 2013 BMW F800GT will likely be a more touring-oriented replacement for the F800ST (pictured above) which was conspicuously absent from the CARB document.
2012-2013 BMW S1000RR Side Stand Recall Expands to US
Fri, 28 Dec 2012Earlier this month, we reported a recall issued by Transport Canada for the 2012 and 2013 BMW S1000RR because of a problem with their side stands. That recall has now expanded to the U.S., affecting 2,385 units. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the side stand attachment bolts on the affect BMW S1000RR units can loosen because of a manufacturing fault.
