BMW R-Series description

One of the cleanest R1150's you will find. Garage kept and never laid down. All services are up to date from my local BMW dealer. Annual was just done 12 miles ago including spark plugs and valve adjustment and a new set of Michelin Pilot Road 4 GT's installed less than 100 miles ago. I have an extra set of brake pads, valve cover gaskets, a Clymers service manual, and the original books to go with it. I will leave the Garmin / Interphone unit on there so you can bluetooth and stream music, take phone calls, or listen to directions to your headset. ABS brakes, power windshield, heated grips, and engine case guards added also. This bike runs and drives perfect. I am selling because I just bought a K1600GTL and frankly have too many bikes with not enough space. Pick up in person or I can help arrange shipping. Just let me know if any other photos are needed but you won't be disappointed. When it was in for service the dealer said he had not seen one this nice in a long time. Feel free to ask any questions.

Von Kuenheim: BMW Must Start Winning in WSBK Before Entering MotoGP

Fri, 16 Mar 2012

MotoGP racing may be the next logical step for BMW, says Hendrik von Kuenheim, general director of BMW Motorrad. Von Kuenheim was speaking at a press launch for the BMW C600 Sport and C650GT scooters but took a moment to discuss racing with MotoGP.com. Such speculation about BMW entering Grand Prix racing may sometimes be dismissed as idle musings, but the fact the interview was with MotoGP’s official website holds some significance.
