2004 R1150RT, Runs great, no road rash, no rust and no paint chips. Shows better than normal wear and tear for a bike of this age...bike has been well maintained and garaged its entire life. Starts and runs great and handles like a sport bike. No modifications to the bike except those listed. Battery and Metzeler Roadtecs have less than 2k. No mechanical or cosmetic issues. The bike is a great example of BMW's reputation for reliability and performance. Like a lot of BMWs this bike is just a little too tall for my 25" inseam. Once off the stand it is a long distance pleasure to ride. ABS. Heated grips and electric windshield make cold weather a lot easier. Factory audio prep. .Plug in your MP3, SD card or an audio device with 3.5 plug or just listen to FM through factory speakers. Audio is switched remotely from dash panel. The hard bags are in excellent shape with locks that are keyed alike with the ignition and are on and off in a minute. Hard wired into the bike is a Garmin Zumo 650/665 LM mount. With your GPS mounted, XM, Bluetooth and external audio is available. If your headset is an Interphone I will leave the remote installed. Sargent low seat is installed and the standard seat goes with the bike. Rider manual and maintenance manual as well as a Clymer service manual. The bike is solid and described truthfully but is Sold AS IS with NO WARRANTY expressed or implied. All buyers are required to make a $500 deposit within 24 hours of sale. Pay Pal is accepted for the deposit The remainder of the balance must be paid in full within 7 days after the time of sale. Cashier's check, Money order, Cash in person or Bank to bank wire transfer. If I cannot confirm your intention to buy or the deposit is not received within 3 days, I reserve the right to re-list this vehicle or sell to any other qualified buyer. BMW Set Single Month Sales Record in April 2013 – New R1200GS Represents 27.7% of Sales Volume
Mon, 13 May 2013BMW announced it set a new company all-time sales record for a single month, delivering 14,587 motorcycles to customers in April 2013. That represents an 11.5% increase from the 13,088 motorcycles sold in April 2012. The record month helped push BMW‘s overall sales over the first four months to 39,319 motorcycles and scooters, a 5.0% increase from the 13,088 units sold in the same period of 2012.
