BMW R-Series description

Up for auction is a 1999 BMW R1100R Naked motorcycle. We are a multi-line motorcycle dealership, selling new BMW, Honda, Suzuki, and Kawasaki motorcycles in addition to a few other brands. This BMW motorcycle was recently acquired in trade by our dealership, from a client who we sold it to just last summer.  Our BMW authorized service department has performed an overall inspection & safety check on this motorcycle, and everything is in good working condition.  We have serviced this motorcycle for the past two owners, so we are familiar with this BMW R1100R and all recent maintenance is up to date.

This R1100R has ABS Brakes, Heated Grips, OEM from BMW, and the motorcycle has the addition of the Fog Lights as well.  This BMW has just over 47,731 miles and we hold a clean Massachusetts Title for this bike.  The prior owner never had title corrected, as it shows 146,268 miles.  This was human error with the paperwork at the Motor Vehicle Office, where they mistaking put 146,268 instead of 46,268 which was the actual mileage at the time.  This BMW 2-cyclinder boxer engine starts easy, runs strong, transmission shifts through all the gears smoothly, so this motorcycle should bring the next owner many years of happy riding.  Please feel free to call 617-275-3784, with any questions or concerns during normal business hours.  Trades are accepted for local buyers, but please inquire before bidding!

BMW S1000RR drag bike

Fri, 05 Apr 2013

Whilst stretched out bikes aren't that popular over here in the UK, you can certainly appreciate them a whole lot more more when you know they're going to be used at a drag strip. This video shows bike builder and ex-racer Roland Sands work his magic on a BMW S1000RR. Future plans are to increase the engine to 300bhp, and achieve speeds of 220mph.
