BMW R-Series description

This bike started out as a 1984 BMW R80RT.  I found this in a barn and all fluids had been drained.  I put fresh fluids, battery and gas and when I hit the starter it purred like a kitten.  The touring fairing and other items were removed as they were in rough shape. I left the bike in original patina because I wasn't sure if I was gonna make a brat or a cafe racer. I ride this bike almost every day and it starts first time every time. I'm selling the BMW because I have too many projects to keep it.  I have enjoyed this bike and maybe in the future I will find another one and Cafe it out!

Road Test: Mercedes SLR McLaren Roadster

The rolling thunder soundtrack from its supercharged V8 motor, amplified by its four side exhaust pipes, announces its impending arrival like a fanfare complete with drum rolls. Heads swivel, seeking the source.

BMW has gone viral! The German bike maker put together a very cool video showing its new S1000RR sportbike in action and millions of people have already seen it on YouTube. The video in question shows the Beemer attempting the old tablecloth trick.

I would not, could not, ride a BMW C1

Tue, 29 Jun 2010

As the chair of this session I will start. On my walk to work this morning I got beeped at by BMW's C1 scooter whilst crossing the road. This, my most detested mockery of two-wheeled transport, beeped at me for no reason whatsoever but what angered me more was the pitiful horn the BMW has, it was a roadrunner like ‘meep’.
