1983 R100 RS Cafe
Custom Rear Subframe, Custom Works performance shocks. Dellorto PHM38 carbs from an R90s. Rear sets. LED tail light and turn signals. CNC'd upper triple clamp, steel lower fork brace. New clutch, brake lines, brake pads, throttle cables, clutch cable, fuel valves, seals, rubber, grips etc etc. I purchased the bike stock with the vision to build a clean, fun and functional cafe racer. It is very clean I have ridden it only 685 miles since restoring it. It was finished in August 16'. The bike was completely disassembled. The frame, tank, wheels and other parts were repainted. I get compliments everywhere I ride. When I purchased the bike it was very clean the odometer read just over 7100 miles but the owner was unsure if it was correct because he purchased it from an estate sale. So the actual miles are unknown. The bike starts, runs, shifts, stops and handles great. Its an 83' so it has dual front Brembo calipers, single rear disc and electronic ignition. The wheels are converted to tubeless and the tires are conti classic attack radial. The seat is foam covered in super nice leather. I rode about 250 miles on a Sunday a few weeks ago and it is plenty comfortable. I took the first picture just before my first ride after restoring. The others were taken on 11/18 I have two young children and another one on the way, so no motorcycles for me for awhile! It is very clean but not new please look at the pictures to see the condition. please message me with any questions. This bike is fun, plenty fast, and gets a lot of looks. 2012 BMW K1600GT, K1600GTL Engine Stall Recall Announced for US
Tue, 03 Dec 2013The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced a recall for 2,475 units of the 2012 BMW K1600GT and K1600GTL in the U.S. because of a software problem causing engines to stall. A similar recall was previously announced in Canada but we now have more information about the problem.
