This bike was purchased this year. Wanted to do a fun project for the winter. I accomplished that and now looking to send it off to a good home. All work was done professionally by a mechanic here in Cleveland. Bike is clean and runs great. Well maintained from previous owner for many years. This was a touring bike that I converted to a brat style motorcycle. I was stopped and waved at often on this bike. BMW Bounces Back with Record August Sales
Thu, 06 Sep 2012When BMW released its second quarter report last month, the company reported a 4.2% decrease in BMW and Husqvarna motorcycle sales due mainly to a struggling European economy. The economic woes persist but BMW appears to be recovering, reporting a new sales record for the month of August. BMW reports sales of 7,400 motorcycles and scooters in August 2012, a company record for the month and an 11.3% increase from the 6,646 units sold in August 2011 and 14.7% more than the 6,405 units sold in August 2010.

The engine runs as normal, using it's torqey qualities to power the high pressure waterpump attached. Firefighters can carry this compact pump closer to the fire, and go where the normal fire engine cannot reach.
BMW to Partner with India’s TVS Motor Company
Mon, 03 Dec 2012BMW is getting closer to signing a partnership agreement with India’s TVS Motor Company. The partnership, expected to be finalized before the end of March, would see TVS receive access to BMW technology while the German manufacturer would increase its footprint in the world’s second most-populated nation. TVS is one of India’s largest manufacturers but it has recently slipped to fourth from third behind Hero MotoCorp, Bajaj Auto and Honda.
