BMW R-Series description

Here is a nice example of a 1978 R80/7 BMW motorcycle. Exact miles unknown since original speedo and odometer were broken and replaced. The bike has new paint on the tank, front and rear fenders, headlight ears, headlight bucket, taillight, side covers, turn signal pods, front engine cover, and valve covers. Bike also features new fork seals and boots, new engine down tube seals, cyl gaskets, and valve gaskets. Other improvements include wrapped headers, koni shocks, dyna ignition, lots of new small rubber and plastic bits...too numerous to mention, new grips and rider peg rubbers, and of course all new oils. I just have too many projects. Bike has a clear title in my name and runs and rides nicely. Good tires although not new but lots of tread and no cracks. Engine and frame numbers match. Reserve is less then I have in it. Good luck bidding.

BMW showed the electric scooter of the future

Fri, 05 May 2017

Motorrad Concept Link is a two-wheeled gadget that understands its owner. An electric propulsion system with a traction battery located in the lower part of the “body” and a motor that transmits traction to the rear wheel via a belt drive is far from the most remarkable aspect of the concept. For example, it has a stretched wheelbase and reverse gear.

With no news coming from the team in Modena, Italy, we wondered, what’s CRP been up to lately? While not much has been said publicly for months, CRP has been working feverishly behind the scenes to strengthen its staff.

Gesture-controlled Audi wins VDA Design Award

Wed, 25 Sep 2013

The German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) has announced the winner of its 2013 Design Awards, which asked students from across the world to submit their final graduating projects completed between October 2011 and July 2013. Eric Leong from Sweden's Umeå Institute of Design, came in first place with his 'Audi Elite' project, earning himself €4,000. Leong's single-person vehicle can be controlled using the entire body through gestures and movements, and adapts to the needs of the driver, giving them more control.
