Up for your consideration is a beautiful 1977 BMW R100/7. The bike is an absolute pleasure to ride and is 100% mechanically sound. The bike runs and rides just like the day came off the showroom floor. Recently the bike has been fully serviced which includes oil change, brake fluid flushed, brand-new dry cell battery, and carburetors cleaned & balanced. The only issue the bike has to my knowledge is the tires are starting to show their age and at some point would be to be replaced and a small rip in the seat seem. All numbers on the bike our matching the bike does come with the original tool pouch as well as tools. I encourage all bidders to come down and visually inspect the bike themselves or send a local mechanic to do so in your behalf. Wed, 20 Feb 2013BMW Motorrad has announced U.S. pricing for the new 2013 R1200GS, with the German company’s updated flagship adventure tourer starting at $15,800. Recently reviewed by our EiC Kevin Duke, the 2013 BMW R1200GS is nearly completely re-designed, with the most notable new feature being a new 1170cc boxer engine with small radiators providing what BMW calls “Precision Cooling“.

Tue, 12 Jun 2012Max Biaggi strengthened his hold on the 2012 World Superbike Championship lead with a pair of wins at Italy’s Misano circuit. The Aprilia rider out-battled the Althea Ducati duo of Carlos Checa and Davide Giugliano to win Race One before taking a relatively easier Race Two victory. Before the races, WSBK riders lined up on the starting grid to hold a banner expressing their support for the Emilia region in northern Italy which has been suffering from earthquakes and continuing aftershocks since late May.
EICMA 2012: BMW Announces New Boxer to Mark 90th Anniversary

Intermot came and went without a word and now EICMA is upon us we have … well, several words but no new model. Yet.
