I am selling a 1976 BMW R90. This is a numbers matching bike, which means the engine, and frame numbers all match. I found the bike sitting in a private collection for a long time. I was able to get the bike idling for a quick video but I am listing her as a non running project, since I do not know the condition of the rest of the bike. Bike is Florida titled. The bike does have a front fairing, rear rack and rear rack box, if buyer can get them picked up with the bike. I will now let my slideshow and video I provided in the listing do the talking. You must use a regular computer or laptop to see the slideshow and video. They will not show up with apps, phones, or some tablets. Click on the view all tab at the bottom of the slideshow to see all the pictures. This is a NO RESERVE auction. No warranties expressed or implied , and a as is where is sale. Feel free to have the motorcycle inspected if you like. All sales are final, and there are no refunds or returns, and inspections are recommended. Bike comes with a title from previous owner. Full payment is do within 7 days after the auction has ended. Buyer must also contact me within 2 days after the auction has ended to set up a time for payment and pickup. Bike must be picked up in Tampa FL. As long as the bike is paid for in full within 7 days after the auction has ended, then she can sit here for up to two months, but would like it picked up as soon as possible. Kymco to Supply BMW with i3 Electric Car Range Extender and New 400cc Scooter Engine
Fri, 25 Jan 2013The automotive world has been buzzing of late about BMW‘s upcoming i3 electric car having an optional range extending gas-powered motorcycle engine. As our sister site Autoguide.com reports, the i3 will be available with an optional two-cylinder BMW motorcycle engine to power a generator which can recharge the electric motor and extend the vehicle’s range to 250 miles compared to a range of 60-90 miles relying just on the battery. It turns out that two-cylinder motorcycle engine will actually be provided to BMW by Taiwanese manufacturer Kymco.
