1974 BMW R90S with non matching engine block (original matching bare block was subsequently found and comes with the bike). This is the 239th R90S ever built, making it a very early example. It still retains it's original wheels and solid front brake disks which are correct for this model year. Original and rebuilt Dellorto carburetors. Also has the early style switches, vastly better than the 1975 and 1976 style. Before the re-paint, the tank was internally cleaned and sealed with Caswell 2-part epoxy; ethanol-proof. Frame is straight, no damage.

It's a joy to ride and very comfortable despite what you may think about this styling. I'm 6'-1" tall and very comfortable on it. The bars are infinitely adjustable to suit your preference. Although this is a very custom R90S, nothing irreversible was done. So if you want to bring it back to it's factory stock configuration, it's easily do-able. 2013 BMW F800GT Revealed in CARB and EPA Documents
Fri, 31 Aug 2012Documents released by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the California Air Resources Board confirm the existence of a new member of BMW‘s F800 lineup, the F800GT. The 2013 BMW F800GT will likely be a more touring-oriented replacement for the F800ST (pictured above) which was conspicuously absent from the CARB document.
