BMW R-Series description

A grate candidate for a resto. All original running bike with clear title. Runs and shifts well. Just cleaned the fuel tank, carbs, new fuel line and changed oil. Tires are cracked. The toaster tank is clean and straight. New battery. Excellent seat. I have the side covers which goes with the bike. The title and odometer shows 38000. A 200.00 dollar deposit is required after auction followed by final payment within seven days. Cashiers check or wire transfer preferred.

Here are a few things going on around the Motorcycle.com Forum Network: Animated Engines plivez, a new member of the Ducati.ms forums (welcome Plivez!) has a website where he animates motorcycle engines in flash. It’s pretty interesting to see the way a Evo and Twin Cam V twin Harley Davidson engine works. He also has up the crazy BMW flat twin R100 motorcycle engine which seems more complicated then an engine should be!

EICMA 2012: Bimota BB2 Concept Revealed with BMW S1000RR Engine

Bimota revealed a new concept sportbike at the 2012 EICMA Show equipped with a BMW S1000RR engine. The Bimota BB2 concept is the first product of a new partnership signed with BMW that would see the German manufacturer supply S1000RR engines for Bimota. The S1000RR engine has class-leading numbers, with the 172.4 hp we measured in our 2012 European Literbike Shootout a 10.4 hp advantage over any literbike we dyno’ed for that shootout or the Japanese Literbike Shootout.
