I could tell you this motorcycle has 24,000 and a lot of people might believe that. I am however an honest seller. This is a 1972 BMW R75/5 Toaster tank SWB model. It is all original except for these upgrades, Mikuni Carb upgrade from Rocky Point Cycles, Dyna electronic ignition. I have just done a fresh top end, less than 250 miles on it. When I did the top end I found 10 over pistons in the bores. The cylinders were honed, new rings were fit, the heads were professionally done and everything was assembled with new gaskets. Keep in mind this is a 40+ year old machine and it exhibits some scratches and blemishes, no dents, and the paint is original and shows well.
This classic Beemer features all matching numbers. The fairing, bags, and tour pack are original Wixom Brothers period correct pieces, I have replaced the factory latches which were all worn and broken. The seat is a BMW factory piece. It starts easily and is well sorted. The Metzler tires show little wear. The entire drive train has been serviced and the bike shifts well and the clutch is fine. Brakes are great for drums. Battery is correct and one year old and kept on a tender with the hook up installed. This bike is ready to ride home, even if you live on the West Coast. Shipping is up to the buyer, I will assist the shipper. I will not crate or palletize this bike for overseas shipping. Spy Video Provides Up-Close Look at 2014 BMW R1200RT/R1200GT
Wed, 17 Apr 2013Last month, we published spy photos of what appeared to be some prototypes of the 2014 BMW R1200RT sport-tourer undergoing testing somewhere in southern France. Unfortunately, the photographs were captured from far away, preventing us from seeing many details apart from the new water-cooled Boxer engine from the new GS and what appears to be the adaptive headlight from the K1600GT and GTL. Thankfully, a new video has surfaced, providing an up-close look at the new R1200RT.

BMW Announces 2023 Colors and Model Updates
Thu, 30 Jun 2022New colors and packages for returning models BMW released initial details on its 2023 model lineup, including new colors and minor updates. BMW also announced the base MSRP for most of its models, though that information is rather moot, as it also announced additional packages which will automatically be added on to all models in the U.S. Not all models are included in this announcement, however.
