  • 1972 BMW R60/5 "Toaster Tank", Black, 31,000 miles. This is a nice running, unrestored R60/5 (with the exception of new paint on the tank). The bike has no major maintenance issues and has always been stored inside. I am the fourth owner of the bike, having purchased it about 4 years ago. It's a great candidate for a full restoration, but definitely could be used as a daily rider. I ride it on average maybe a half a dozen times per month during the season, and it's always been reliable. I do keep a battery tender on it when not in use. BMW Set Single Month Sales Record in April 2013 – New R1200GS Represents 27.7% of Sales Volume

BMW announced it set a new company all-time sales record for a single month, delivering 14,587 motorcycles to customers in April 2013. That represents an 11.5% increase from the 13,088 motorcycles sold in April 2012. The record month helped push BMW‘s overall sales over the first four months to 39,319 motorcycles and scooters, a 5.0% increase from the 13,088 units sold in the same period of 2012.
