Up for sale is a 1971 BMW R75/5 short wheel base! Runs awesome Starts up every time Just had a lot of work done at a very good shop here in Nashville for Spring. New headlight New low profile seat, New K70 tires great for dirt/gravel New Fluids Carbs cleaned Timing Adjusted New Horn New Mirrors New Battery Euro Handlebars Odometer/tach does not functioning. Also included- $200 stainless steel hardware kit, oil gasket, oil filters, the jumbo repair manual, the original owners manual, an extra key as well as original. PLEASE NOTE I took off the luggage rack off and pinched a wire knocking out rear light in process .Shop is backed up for weeks here want to see if I get any interest before I drop it off. 1Hr job. The brake light does work when braking Bike is located in East Nashville if you want to take a look before bidding. 2013 BMW C650GT Canadian Pricing Announced – Sort Of
Thu, 26 Jan 2012BMW has started production of its new C600 Sport and C650GT but still hasn’t officially released pricing information for its two new maxi-scooters. BMW Canada however may have let slip pricing for the C650GT: CA$11,900 BMW Motorrad Canada is holding a contest to give away a C650GT, and the contest rules list the scooter’s MSRP. Of course, the $11,900 price tag is subject to change, especially as the scooter isn’t expected to arrive in Canada until late 2012 as a 2013 model.

Thu, 01 Mar 2012KTM and Honda may have been the main players at recent Jerez Moto 3 test but GP newcomers, Oral Engineering, weren’t too far behind with our very own Danny Webb posting the 15th best time. Italian based Oral are supplying engines to Mahindra Racing (Danny & Marcel Schrotter) and Ambroggio Next Racing (Simone Grotzki & Giulian Pedone). Mahindra have their motor housed in an all new, Italian tubular steel chassis, while Ambroggio have gone down the more economic route of using their 2011 Aprilia RSW 125 chassis.
30th Anniversary Edition BMW K1300S Announced for EICMA
Thu, 25 Oct 2012BMW announced it will mark the 30th anniversary of its K series with a special edition K1300S. The 2013 BMW K1300S “30 Jahre K-Modelle” will be presented at the 2012 EICMA show in Milan, Italy in a couple of weeks’ time. Though perhaps not as popular as BMW‘s R series boxer models, the K series served as a platform for a number of technologies that were either new for BMW or new for the motorcycle industry.
