BMW R-Series description
Please see the High Resolution Photographs for condition and all associated documentation/paper-work. This motorcycle should be restored and built using the R69S matching frame and engine and title. It will require a total restoration. The gold bike is a 1967 factory original paint R50/2 with matching numbers. In the photos, the extra included parts are a from a 1969 R69S, also with matching numbers. It's a 47+ year old vintage bike, unrestored. If you have the funds available for purchase, and would like questions answered I will return phone calls to U.S. numbers. Please be a serious buyer if calling. Leave a voice message at (nine O for) 23for-sixtyseven eighty. I have other horses in the stable, and am thinning the herd so check my other auctions for uncommon German and Italian motorcycles. I have been riding and collecting BMW motorcycles since 1987. Time changes everything, and I am finally ready to let someone else enjoy owning some of them. Again, please see the high resolution photos for condition. The R69S is the most powerful and desirable of all 1955 to 1969 BMW's. This model is increasing in value and becoming more appreciated by new collectors every day. Restore it, sell off the unused R50/2 parts to recoup $, and finally have an R69S. Make it yours. |

My S1000RR has stopped but it's only a broken chain.
Thu, 15 Sep 2011I know there has been a lack of blogging on my S1000RR recently and that’s because it’s broken, but only a little bit. On July 18th I was at Silverstone looking after some Bahnstormer BMW customers, when late in the afternoon something hit me on the back as I was charging down the Wellington Straight. At that precise moment I also thought I had hit a false neutral but it turns out the chain had snapped.
BMW R100RS by Ritmo Sereno
Fri, 02 Aug 2013Ritmo Sereno is a Japanese motorcycle customiser specializeing in BMW and Moto Guzzi custom motorcycles. One of the greatest bikes created by them, shown to the public last year, is this BMW R100RS finished in official Bayerishe Motorwerke livery. The original bike, that was considered in the past like a sort of modern hypersport, received some radical changes that have updated the boxer powered motorcycle. It features new rims, so modern tyres can be used, a new exhaust system (2 into 1), the classic Ohlins fork with dark colour finish and the rear shock is Ohlins too.
