A little bit about my bike. I was 12 years old getting off the school bus when I spotted this black motorcycle being rolled out of a trailer into the nicest house in the neighborhood. Ten years later, I purchased that bike with 9300 miles on it. That was 1972! The original purchase was made at Ghost Motorcycles in Port Washington, New York. Now, 42 years later, the mileage is 23,960. I am the 2nd owner with the original documentation. This bike also won FIRST PLACE at LARZ ANDERSEN AUTO MUSEUM.

Mon, 18 Jan 2010SPYDER Club motorcycle hire club invites two wheeled enthusiasts to join them in southern Spain for 4 days of riding through the mountains of Andalusia on the Aprilia RSV4 Factory, Ducati’s 1198S and the company's latest arrival, BMW’s new S1000RR. Guests arrive from the 12th February with the final riders leaving on the 7th March. Spyder Club will be based in a villa above the village of Casabermeja and are running a total of 5 trips, each for 6 participants, during that time.The £800 asking price for the short break includes bike hire, accommodation, fuel and food. BMW Recalls Several Models in Canada for Potential Fuel Leaks
Thu, 19 Dec 2013Transport Canada has announced a recall on 18 BMW models across several model years spanning from 2005 to 2012 because of a risk of fuel leaks (the full list of models and model years is below). As of this posting, no recall has been announced for the U.S. but the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) currently has an investigation open for a similar issue, potentially affecting 45,588 BMW motorcycles.
2015 BMW K1300S Motorsport Announced
Fri, 04 Jul 2014BMW announced a new special edition version of the K1300S equipped with some upgraded parts and a unique paint job. The 2015 BMW K1300S Motorsport comes with a new Black Storm Metallic, Light White and Lupine Blue Metallic color scheme, with a bit of red striping for good measure. A band of black running across the top of the bike from nose to tank to tail is complemented by a tinted windscreen.
