A little bit about my bike. I was 12 years old getting off the school bus when I spotted this black motorcycle being rolled out of a trailer into the nicest house in the neighborhood. Ten years later, I purchased that bike with 9300 miles on it. That was 1972! The original purchase was made at Ghost Motorcycles in Port Washington, New York. Now, 42 years later, the mileage is 23,960. I am the 2nd owner with the original documentation. This bike also won FIRST PLACE at LARZ ANDERSEN AUTO MUSEUM.

BMW Partners with India’s TVS Motor, Plans Sub-500cc Models
Mon, 08 Apr 2013BMW announced it has signed a long-term agreement with Indian manufacturer TVS Motor to develop and produce small-displacement motorcycles. The two companies have been in discussions for several months now, but alliance is only now official. Under the agreement, BMW and TVS will work together to develop a new model with an engine displacement smaller than 500cc.

Mon, 10 Jun 2013Marco Melandri and Eugene Laverty split a pair of victories at Portugal’s Portimao circuit while Sylvain Guintoli took advantage of some misfortune to his championship rivals to increase his lead in the 2013 World Superbike Championship standings. Guintoli has been leading or sharing the lead in the championship since winning the first race of Round 1 in Australia, but amazingly continues to lead despite having just that single victory after six rounds. The Aprilia rider has accomplished this through his consistency (Guintoli leads all racers with nine podium finishes in 12 races) and ability to finish each race (he’s the only rider in the top seven without a DNF).
