This is a Canadian Police BMW purchased for civilian use (has not been pre-owned by police). This is a rare bike for civilian usage and not easy to find unused and unstressed by police force usage. I am the second owner. Bike is in terrific condition and has all the necessary harnesses for police or other accessories. It has 13+k miles. There have been several upgrades to the bike: New Dunlop Road Smart tires, Remus exhaust and headers, power commander Ohlins shocks on back and front, I have hyperlites on the rear plate as well as bullet led lamps, Dually D2 led lamps on the crash bars. Wunderlich driving lamps under the oil guard, and led light strip at the rear sides. Air Horn by Wolo also installed. You will have full visibility and safety. The seat has been reupholstered for comfort and waterproofing by Kontour seats in Arizona. This bike is white on white unlike the California CHP which have the black. All crash bars stock and provided and some extras including bulbs, parts, BMW trickle charger and more. The bike has a km dial and miles in the digital readout (this is changeable). It is California registered and emissions cleared. It has a clear California title and is ready to ride. Traffic does move for you when you come through. Never been raced or dropped. 2014 BMW R nineT Production Begins

The first production models of the BMW R nineT roadster have rolled off the assembly line in Berlin. The R nineT is a special model for BMW, representing the company’s 90 years in the motorcycle industry, so it’s no surprise the start of production was made with much fanfare. BMW invited 100 guests including the team from German customization studio Urban Motor to watch assembly of the first three units of the R nineT including the final dynamometer testing where more than 1,000 different parameters are measured before a motorcycle can be released.

The Italian division of BMW invited local custom workshops to work on a new R nineT roadster. Representatives of a young studio Officine Sbrannetti were the first to respond, proposing a project for the reincarnation of the legendary BMW RS54 Rennsport. R nineT was the seventh project of the company, which began its existence about two years ago.
