BMW Other description

2013 Bmw F 800 GS, Looking for a loaded F800GS ready to do it all? You just found one and weve done all the work! - We uncrated this 2013 F800GS and set upon equipping it with what youd need to attack Baja, the Continental Divide or you name it. We worked closely with Jim Hyde at the Rawhyde Training Center to acquire and install all the right stuff. He was so pleased with our finished product that he authorized its buyer a free Off Road Session at his training center in Castaic California. This training would normally run $1400 and represents a real value to the serious adventurer. We tallied up our shop labor charge to install it the extras and that totaled $752 and is free on this unit as well. The list is long as to the accessories aboard this bike but here goes: Altrider supplied the engine guards, luggage rack, headlight guard, and sidestand foot. The heavy duty skid plate and large cleated pegs came from Black Dog while BMW supplied The Adventure Navigator. The hard cases came from Happy Trails and the auxiliary lights are none other than Rigid. Tour- a-tech came up with the 20 mm Bar Risers and the brake resevoir guard. The tank bag is a Giant Loop Diablo. The tail pack is from Wolfman and finally, Adventure designs made the shorty levers ideal for off road use. You can bet we are proud of the finished bike. Our dealer added accessories total $3,970. The DSRP on the bike with all the accessories is $17,060. Also be aware any additional manufacturer or dealer incentives and will apply to this unit. We have but one of these to sell so dont wait too long or you may miss out on this very ready F800GS. Challenges? Yes! Compromises? No! This is the motto of the revised F 800 GS - the sportiest member of the big GS family. The motorcycle continues its longstanding success story, providing impressive versatility both on and off the road: the ultimate versatile enduro machine with sporty genes. The front section of the body in particular has undergone significant transformation: the new fuel tank trim, intake snorkel, upper mudguard and a new windshield give the bike that extra dash of dynamic performance, reflecting the off-road side of the F 800 GS. Lowering is now available as an option for the F 800 GS, too. So in conjunction with the low seat, this means it is possible to create a seat height of 32.3 inches. Meanwhile, Switchable ABS is installed and ensures an additional dimension of safety. The F 800 GS comes in three exciting color variants: Kalamata metallic, Alpine White 3 and Cordoba Blue. From tough and modern to athletic and dynamic - this bike is guaranteed to offer something for everyone. F 800 GS: the on and off-roads have never been so close and this one is oh so ready to stand and deliver.

Mon, 04 Jul 2011

BMW has developed new suspension technology that automatically adjusts damping for different riding conditions. The Dynamic Damping Control is the next evolutionary step in BMW‘s suspension technology, following its Electronic Suspension Adjustment systems (ESA and ESA II). While ESA allowed the rider to adjust suspension settings with the push of a button, DDC automatically makes adjustments as you ride.

Only 500 examples of this aesthetic powerhouse will be made MV Agusta is nothing if not exotic, and the company introduced its new limited edition Superveloce 1000 Serie Oro to its assembled group of journalists exactly how you’d expect: by emphasizing its beauty. Sure it’s powered by a 200-plus horsepower four cylinder with titanium connecting rods and radial valves, but that’s not really the star of the show here. According to MV’s Stefano Campaci, the Superveloce 1000 Serie Oro had to appeal to both motorcyclists and even non-motorcyclists alike.
